Dear friends,
The first European Keratoconus conference was organized by Professor François Malecaze in Toulouse in November 2007. It was highly successful with nearly 600 opthalmologists attending. Although this scientific gathering was destined mainly for health professionals, the organizers insisted right from the start that our support group should take an active part in the conference by conveying the patients' experiences of keratoconus.
This is what we did by setting up the keratocone.eu website and by inviting other European support groups to meet with us during the conference.

This year again, we have been asked by Professor Joseph Colin to take part in the organization of Eurokératocône II, which will be held in Bordeaux on 23-24 September 2011. It is with great pleasure that we will do our best to make this conference successful and we thank the Organizing Committee and JBH Santé for the trust they have placed in us.
We would be pleased to meet members of other European support groups in Bordeaux. This would give us all the opportunity to learn about the latest medical advances as well as share experiences and perhaps work together towards improving patient care.
